Credit Card Payments
Palmetto Electric Cooperative now offers you the convenience of paying your electric bill by
credit/debit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard,
Discover and American Express. You can pay
with your credit card online or by phone.
Convenience Fee
There is a $4.95 fee for transactions up to $400. Additional transactions are $4.95 each for
charges in excess of $400. For example, a bill totaling between $400.01 and $800 would require
two transactions, with fees totaling $9.90. Palmetto Electric does not receive this fee; it is
a charge for the costs associated with providing this service.
Pay Online
To pay by credit card call one of our local offices or
e-mail us to receive your password. It's easy to sign up.
When you enroll in the online payment plan,
you agree to receive your monthly electric bill
via email and will no longer receive a copy of your bill in the mail.
Pay By Phone
To pay by phone using your credit card, call 1-866-445-5551 and follow a few easy steps.
MEMBERS MUST HAVE THEIR ACCOUNT NUMBER TO MAKE A PAYMENT BY PHONE.
Upon completion of your payment transaction, you will be given a confirmation number that you
should record and refer to when contacting Palmetto Electric.
