GOFER® — Give Oil for Energy Recovery

The Give Oil For Energy Recovery (GOFER) program is a cooperative effort with Santee Cooper to promote environmental protection. The GOFER program is designed to help you dispose of used oil the right way.

Participating in our GOFER program is an easy way to help keep the environment clean. Just a gallon of used oil in our water supply can contaminate one million gallons of water.

The GOFER program in the Palmetto Electric service area is also sponsored by Beaufort, Hampton, and Jasper counties.
