Palmetto Electric Summer Day Camps Teach Kids To Play It Safe

Mark your calendars for Palmetto Electric’s nineteenth annual Safety Days! Kids ages 6–11 can learn safety skills from local professionals during these free summer day camps.

The program lineup includes water safety, fire safety, bike safety, and electrical safety. In addition, experts will teach animal care and safety with the help of real, live, furry (or slimy) critters sponsored by The River 98.7 FM.

To top it off, Linny the Lineman will be on hand to give away a boy’s and a girl’s bicycle at each event. Lunch will be provided for each participant, and there is no admission charge for any of the programs.

All events begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m.
